Longwood Canna have graceful, shell-pink flowers amid lush, blue-green foliage. This lovely specimen grows well in the ground, in bog areas around your pond or in up to 3" of water over the roots.  Grows 2-4' tall. Plant this CUSTOMER FAVORITE in full sun. In northern climates, lift after first frost and overwinter indoor in a cool, dry place. Replant after all danger of frost has passed. Blooms mid-summer until frost.

When planting canna in the pond, always use baskets or containers with holes in them. This allows your plants' roots access to oxygen in the water.  You do not have to use soil, as the canna will pull nutrients from the water helping the plants to grow and helping to eliminate algae. When planting canna in your yard, choose moist, rich, loamy soil and plant in full sun. Bulbs are tender and must be lifted after the first frost and stored and overwintered indoors. Keep them in a cool, dry area until spring. Plant in the spring after all danger of frost has passed.
