Attractive foliage with large, green oblong leaves that are arrow shaped. Grows  with a clump-like habitat and looks quite attractive  at the edges of ponds and lakes. Forms a small kernel (often called duck corn) that ducks enjoy eating. Looks nice when potted and placed in your pond!



Plant in moist soil or shallow water. Grows well in full sun to full shade.When potting, use heavy loam soil and place with a few inches of water over the roots. Does well in marshes and moist, boggy areas.
